MAPUSA: Acting on the direction of Judicial Magistrate First Class, the Mapusa police, on Wednesday, registered an FIR against three persons for allegedly duping two persons from Gujarat to the tune of Rs 8.40 lakh which was paid towards purchase of a flat at Mapusa housing board.

According to Mapusa police, Theodore Fernandes and Francis Fernandes, both natives of Vadodara-Gujarat had filed an application with Mapusa police alleging that Neeraj Sharma, owner of Sharma real estate of Alto Porvorim, Sushani Asolkar and Shivraj Pednekar of Pune office, had offered a deal of a flat at the housing board in Mapusa.
