PANAJI: Governor Mridula Sinha has summoned the legislative assembly of Goa to begin its monsoon session on Monday, July 25. The 15-day session will end on Friday, August 12.
During the session, members of the legislative assembly are likely to debate on the budget passed during the last session.
Also, as this could be the last major session before the assembly election, the opposition is likely to corner the treasury bench on various issues.
