PANAJI: Panaji town police, on Sunday, informed that a molestation case has been filed against Babuli Ghanekar, a resident of Shankarwadi-Taleigao, based on a complaint lodged by Richa Bhat and Medha Pai.
The police sub inspector, Utkrant Rao Dessai is investigating the case.
The police have registered the case upon the complaint filed by Richa Bhat and Medha Pai under sections 427, 323, 354, 504, 506, readwith section 34 of Indian Penal Code (IPC).
The complaints have alleged that Babuli Ghanekar, Dilip Ghanekar, and Babuli’s son hurled filthy words, assaulted and molested them besides threatening them with dire consequences, said the police.
Further investigation is in progress, said police.
