Congress will win no seat in 2017 Goa assembly polls, says Kejriwal

PANAJI: Delhi chief minister and AP national convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, on Sunday said that the fight would be between the BJP and the AAP in the forthcoming Goa assembly elections. Virtually writing off the Congress, Kejriwal said that the party won't get a single seat in the 2017 elections.

Addressong a women's meet at Margao, Kejriwal assured that AAP would field candidates having an unblemished image, and that the party would take stern action against any legislator found to be "corrupt."
Voicing his support in favour of the demand for a special status for Goa, Kejriwal castigated the BJP for giving false assurance over the issue. "If they want, the BJP can give special status to Goa within 24 hours. But they gave false assurance because they had no intention to do it. Unki niyat kharab thi. If they don't do it, we will have to fight for it," Kejriwal said.
