Mapusa: A Mapusa-based lawyer, Dynaneshwar Kalangutkar, was attacked with a syringe by three unknown persons at his office on Tuesday morning.
Mapusa police said that Kalangutkar, in his complaint, stated that three unknown persons entered his officelocated near the Mapusa civil courtat around 9am on Tuesday and injected him with a white-coloured liquid. Kalangutkar, however, retaliated, causing the syringe to fall. His assailants fled soon after.
The lawyer told police that he didn’t know the accused nor the motive behind the attack.
Police have recovered the syringe and will send it for chemical analysis to determine what type of liquid it held.
Kalangutkar has been admitted to the Goa Medical College (GMC) and Hospital for treatment.
A case has been registered against unidentified individuals. Investigations are on
